Skunk Cory Catfish

Add activity and character to the lower levels of aquariums with Corydoras arcuatus, the unique skunk cory catfish. As tropical armored catfish suited for community tanks, skunk corydoras grow to just over 2 inches long with iconic cory thin disc body shapes.

Their apt common name refers to the dramatic black and white banding resembling a skunk's warning colors. This clean contrast of a bright white midsection framed by darker black on the head and rear third makes them standout fish that shoal closely across tank bottoms. Skunk corydoras feel most at home housed in groups of 5+ individuals.

Give your setup extra clean-up crew support while observing charming behaviors with a crew of skunk cory catfish. They will enthusiastically root through substrate for excess food scraps while providing visual excitement contrasting plant beds and decor.
